Garlic and Onion Burger

You are going to love the taste of this Garlic and Onion Burger! Marinated with a Worcestershire, garlic and Italian seasoning sauce, and sautéed onions on top it is going to be a hit!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef 80/20
  • 1 tbsp Worchestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Italian-style seasoning
  • 1 medium Onion sliced
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 slices American cheese - optional
  • Salt and pepper-to taste
  • 4 each Hamburger buns-toasted

Instructions

  • Mix the Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and Italian seasoning together in a small bowl and refrigerate.
  • Form meat into 4-ounce patties.
  • Season each side with salt and pepper.
  • Saute onions in olive oil to the consistency you prefer. Salt and pepper while cooking. Remove from pan and set aside while cooking the burgers.
  • Add burgers to the skillet and cook for 4-6 minutes on the first side. Turn and baste the first side with the sauce. Cook 4 minutes on the second side, turn and baste the second side.
  • Add a slice of cheese, if using.
  • Place each burger on a bun and top with sauteed onions. Enjoy!

Step By Step Instructions - Garlic and Onion Burger

Prepare sauce ahead of time as shown in the recipe. Butter a flat skillet and add your burger buns to toast.

Take your ground beef and place it into the Perfect Patty Shaperz round mold. You can also form 4 ounce patty with your hands. Be sure to not overwork the beef.

Place the burger on a flat skillet and season the first side with salt and pepper. You can also season both sides of your burgers prior to putting on the pan. Be sure to season the second side after turning the burger.

Add your onions to the pan and season with salt and pepper. You can always sauté the onions in a separate. We just did it this way in the video to keep things together.

As the onions are cooking, baste the burger with your Worcestershire sauce. Be generous!!

When the burger and onions are done, remove from the pan and place the burger on the bun! Then top with the onions.
